EYFS Transition Information
A very warm welcome to our new Reception cohort of 2023!
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Bridgwater College Academy. Some of you will be familiar with the school, but for others, this may be the first time that your child will be starting with us, and we warmly welcome you.
Our new parents’ information evening will be on Thursday 22nd June at 5:30pm, in the Bower Hall. Our transition ‘Stay & Play sessions will be held in July, more information to follow!
We will be going to visit your child’s nursery or pre-school (if they attend one). This will support your child’s transition to school, enabling us to meet your child and chat to the staff working in the setting.

Starting primary school is an exciting new chapter, but we appreciate it can be daunting. Please rest assured, we will work with you and your child to make this an exciting and enjoyable experience. To support them in preparing for this step, here is our 'BCA Ready for Reception' document which will help your child prepare for school.
