Transition into Year 7
A very warm welcome to the secondary phase of Bridgwater College Academy.
We are delighted to be welcoming your child to the BCA community in September 2026. We will run a wide range of transition activities throughout the summer term to enable your child to start to understand the academy and what it is like to be part of BCA. We are proud of our three values – Respect, Responsibility and Resilience
It is incredibly important to us that your child feels supported, cared for and able to succeed while they are here. At Bridgwater College Academy we have a committed and caring team of staff who are waiting to provide your child with the best possible learning environment, where high expectations, resilience, responsibility, and respect will be the foundation of success.
The academy website has a wealth of important information, and we encourage you to look at the ‘Key Information’, ‘Parents’ and ‘Curriculum’ sections to familiarise yourself with the academy. You will find information on uniform, what your child will learn and times of the day.
We will be in touch in the coming months with further information about the transition programme for your child.
We are very much looking forward to working closely with you and your child and beginning a strong partnership that will continue over the next five years.
